Business is booming for Stuart & Shelby Development. They now
employ 14 people and their offices are busting at the seams.
That is good news for President Chuck Halberg, who has been in
the construction business for 43 years. The company was founded
in 2006 and continues to grow to meet the demand for housing.
“We are currently working on over 30 sites, consisting of over 90 units
being either renovated or built right now. We are in the finishing stages of
a 31-unit townhome rental community in West Delray and the Artist Lofts
in Lake Worth, an 8 unit townhome project for sale to local artists along
with a 2000sf retail building. These units are built to green standards.”
Together the team at Stuart & Shelby works to create homes, renovations
and multi-family projects that meet the needs of clients. In
addition to President Chuck Halberg, the team consists of Director of
Construction Dave Dedman, Project Managers Gary Winslow, Jonathan
Reagle, Steve Weiss, Paul Floyd, Clavio Gallerani and Dave Stein,
Office Administrator Patty Eldredge, Client Liaison Linda Kempes, Receptionist
Lauren Halberg, Accounting Pam Halberg, Punch Out Eddie
Williamson and Laborer Alex Dominguez.
Stuart & Shelby was recently awarded a 14-unit townhome project
to create housing for Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches. This rental
community helps families in need by offering them a safe-haven to
reside. The project will include a two-story community center for use
by the residents.
“I have a passion for creating quality attainable housing for the underserved
community. I do it for government agencies or non-profit
organizations that help people find good housing they can afford,”
adds Chuck.
Currently Stuart & Shelby has projects in Hallandale Beach, Ft. Lau-
