‘The tenement we are in was built in<br />
1880 and we wanted a kitchen in keeping<br />
with that era yet with all the mod cons,’<br />
Ronnie explains. ‘We read about Greg in the<br />
Westender and really liked the quality of the<br />
cabinetry we saw. Greg is so approachable<br />
and has great ideas – he just seemed to<br />
understand what we wanted and spent lots of<br />
time coming over to discuss the plans.<br />
‘To save having a kettle on the worktop<br />
Greg suggested a 3 in 1 ITHO boiling hot<br />
water tap which is such a timesaving device!<br />
We also love our Siemens single oven with<br />
microwave, saving on the space of a separate<br />
microwave oven.<br />
‘The biggest job was to relocate the<br />
washing machine to a cupboard beside the<br />
bathroom to free up space for a slimline<br />
integrated dishwasher,’ continues Ronnie.<br />
‘I cannot praise the plumber and joiner that<br />
work with Greg enough. The quality of their<br />
work and their “can do” attitude is a real<br />
testament to the team he has surrounded<br />
himself with. Work began back in June this<br />
year and in six weeks it was all completed.<br />
‘Irene’s favourite spot is the single window<br />
seat Greg came up with to hide where<br />
the gas and electric enters the house and<br />
maximise the light – Irene calls it her wine<br />
seat! Everything is very functional and exactly<br />
as we had hoped, we can’t recommend Greg<br />
and his team highly enough.’<br />
