FROM THE BERNKOGEL TO THE REITERKOGEL.<br />
This tour recommendation for experienced bikers<br />
shows a vast variety – just like so many other things<br />
in Saalbach. Starting at <strong>eva</strong>,VILLAGE you first take<br />
the Spielbergweg road and enjoy the first metres<br />
uphill to the Spielberghaus. Just before the Freeride<br />
Hotspot, turn left towards the Bernkogel. From now<br />
on you can only hear the quiet buzzing of your chain,<br />
which spirals up man and machine serpentine by<br />
serpentine. With an “E” (bike) it's easier of course,<br />
however, the experience remains the same.<br />
At the Bernkogel, the beautiful Wetterkreuz reservoir<br />
is now visible. Directly behind it, the Wetterkreuz trail<br />
is ready for some experienced bikers. A wonderful<br />
single trail which is very rare in this form. But the<br />
destination is further up ... The destination is the Reiterkogel.<br />
Only steep sections now separate you from<br />
the moment when you’ve conquered the peak.<br />
Moments later, you reach the summit, selfie time<br />
for pure #<strong>eva</strong>moments. Then you let the bike roll towards<br />
the chalet Rosswaldhütte for a stop – the hotspot<br />
for Kaiserschmarrn and the best fried chicken<br />
salad. Enjoy your meal!<br />
Via the Blue Line or at a slower pace via the Forstweg<br />
road back into the valley. You decide! On this tour<br />
you shouldn't be surprised if you spot some familiar<br />
faces from the <strong>eva</strong>,. Daniela for example often uses<br />
this tour to clear her head, on an e-bike – of course.<br />
