The Advanced Driver Course<br />
Northampton Advanced Motorists is one of around 200<br />
voluntary groups across the UK affiliated to IAM Roadsmart -<br />
the country’s leading road safety charity. The course is<br />
provided by IAM Roadsmart for a one-off, all-inclusive price<br />
of £149. We deliver the practical part of the course which<br />
raises your driving skills to advanced test standard and<br />
builds on your existing experience.<br />
It will also help those who experience difficulty with certain<br />
roads and situations. Things they may actively avoid.<br />
Motorways for example, or multi-lane roundabouts, both<br />
present problems for some people. Those who undertake<br />
the course find it gives them much greater driving<br />
confidence. They often comment on just how much they<br />
have learned about driving. Things they were previously<br />
unaware of - even with many years of driving experience.<br />
