People and Lifestyle A Christmas Carol is a 2009 American 3D computer animated motion-capture dark fantasy film written, co-produced, and directed by Robert Zemeckis. In this 500-page sizzler, the central figure is the US President – an insane, sociopathic villain. The scene is set when a cat burglar is trapped inside the bedroom of one of the world’s richest men. The burglar sees Secret Service agents kill the billionaire’s wife as she tries to resist the President’s advances. The burglar begins to run for his life, as he becomes a target for the Secret Service. At the same time, corporate lawyer Jack Graham becomes embroiled in the case, as this burglar turns out to be the father of his ex-fiancée, a prosecutor from Virginia.
