TROPICANA ANNOUNCES FINANCIAL RESULTS –<br />
FIRST HALF (1H) <strong>2018</strong><br />
23 AUGUST <strong>2018</strong><br />
According to its financial report, <strong>Tropicana</strong> Corporation Berhad recorded a<br />
29.4% increase in the 1H <strong>2018</strong> profit before tax (PBT) to RM 150.4 million<br />
and an increased net profit of 22.4% to RM 94.7 million. However, revenue<br />
decreased by 9.6% to RM 734.4 million. During the 1H <strong>2018</strong>, <strong>Tropicana</strong> reached<br />
unbilled sales of RM1.0 billion with 15 ongoing projects and an existing<br />
landbank of 923.1 acres.<br />
With the launch of W Hotel Kuala Lumpur as well as a commercial shop<br />
lot phase in Kota Kemuning and the fourth landed residential phase in Kajang,<br />
the developments will contribute positively to the Group’s earnings for the<br />
remainder of the financial year <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
