Cotswold School Opportunities <strong>Newsletter</strong>.<br />

The aim is to celebrate and advertise some of the many learning opportunities with which<br />
you may wish to get involved. We hope that a few things might take your interest and spark<br />
some thinking and discovery. Enjoy!<br />
History<br />
Recently we commemorated 100 years since the end of World War I<br />
This exhibition at the Cheltenham Museum examines life after the war:<br />
‘At Last Fighting is Over’ —‘At last fighting is over’ is a quotation from a letter sent by<br />
Bernard Wilson (the explorer’s older brother) to his mother in Cheltenham, written on 11 November<br />
1918.<br />
This collaborative exhibition with Cheltenham Borough Council, is the brainchild of Neela Mann<br />
and the Cheltenham Local History Society, and is made possible with a Heritage Lottery grant‘<br />

to enter the Wellcome Photography Prize, which celebrates<br />
compelling imagery that captures the stories of health, medicine and<br />
science.<br />
