FREE MENTAL DISORDERS FAMILY EDUCATION COURSE
This NAMI Family to Family 12-week Education Course (2 1/2 hrs. per
week) is for family members of persons with bipolar (manic depression),
anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, severe depression and other

Family to Family Network
Support for Families who have
a Child with Disabilities
Family to Family Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping
families of children with disabilities by providing information, referral,
support, training, a mentoring program, a local leadership and advocacy
training program, Lending Library and as well as a website created
specifically for parents of students receiving special education services. The
F2F-Katy Chapter meetings are held during the day at Crosspoint Community
Church and in the evening at St. Peters United Methodist Church. For more

Depression and Bipolar Support
Alliance Greater Houston
Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Greater Houston (DBSA)
sponsors FREE support groups that assist in managing mood disorders
of individuals with depression and bipolar disorder. Family members,
friends and caregivers are also invited to attend to learn more about
these illnesses. Our groups are led by trained individuals who provide
a compassionate environment consisting of peers who accept and
understand each other. This sense of community and empathy gives
participants encouragement to live more meaningful and healthy lives.
Our Katy adult and young adult groups are hosted by St. Peter’s United
Methodist Church off Kingsland Blvd. every Tuesday from 7 PM-8:30 PM.

The Memory Café At Amazing Place
The Memory Café at Amazing Place, in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s
Association, offers those with early stage dementia and their caregivers
to meet others on Saturday Mornings. The Memory Café in Katy meets
the third Saturday of each month from 10-11:30 AM at 20018 Chateau
Bend Drive, Katy, TX. The program is free to all participants. For more
