Dementia Caregiver Support Group
The new monthly Dementia Caregiver Support Group will be held on the
second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 PM at 20018 Chateau Drive in
Katy, TX 77450. The confidential group, led by Ariana Detert, MSW, LCSW,
is designed to allow caregivers dealing with loved ones at various stages
of dementia to share their concerns, thoughts and feelings with others

Katy OCD/Anxiety
Support Group for Parents
The Katy OCD/Anxiety group for parents meets on the last Saturday of
each month at 9 AM at La Madeline restaurant in Katy. The purpose of this
group is to support each other as we deal with raising children with OCD/
anxiety/panic disorders. Does your child avoid social situations? Do they
have unhealthy perfectionism or depression from anxiety? Come talk
with us. We might be the right support group to find some answers, even
if your child does not have a formal diagnosis. We will share resources
with each other and offer advice. For more information, check out our

Tourette Support Group
The Katy Tourette Syndrome Association of Texas Support Group meets
the second Wednesday of each month (except July), from 7 PM-8:30
PM, at St. Catherine’s Methodist Hospital, 701 S. Fry Rd, Katy, TX 77450.
There are concurrent adult and youth meetings. Adult meetings are varied
with discussion, speakers and videos. During the youth meetings, snacks,
crafts and games are enjoyed. Pizza/Video Game Nights and Holiday

Harris County Wic Program
Services offered by the WIC Program include breastfeeding assistance
and referrals for health and social services. The Harris County WIC
Program operates thirteen sites, all of which offer evening and weekend

ECI Project TYKE
ECI Project TYKE is a year round Early Childhood Intervention program
(ECI) in the Katy Independent School District that specializes in working
with children who need extra help. The program provides developmental
services to children who may need assistance in attaining developmental
milestones or who may have a disability. Services are provided to children
from birth to three where they live, learn or play. ECI Project TYKE develops
a supportive partnership with families by providing educational and
emotional supports, which enriches the daily routines and relationships
that will enable their child to reach his or her maximum potential. Anyone
(parent, family, friend, caregiver, professional) can refer a child to ECI
Project TYKE. If you know a child under the age of 3 who needs assistance
in at least one area of development or who has a medical diagnosis or
condition impacting his or her development, please call ECI Project TYKE

services are available statewide to help families. Early is best!!!!!
Different Strokes
Different Strokes is a wonderful group dedicated to serving and
supporting people who have survived strokes themselves and for their
caregivers. Although our needs are different, care is given to fill the
needs for all of us. Different Strokes meets every Tuesday, at 10 AM, in
the Senior Center, located at 13150 Memorial Dr., for fellowship, learning,
sharing, exercising and loving. We meet together to share with one
another. Please join us. If you have had a stroke or anyone you know has
survived a stroke, please consider learning more about this group. We

The Arc of Katy
The Arc of Katy provides programs for individuals with IDD (Intellectual and
Development Disabilities) including a day program, summer camp and socials for
