Dementia Caregiver Support Group<br />
<strong>The</strong> new monthly Dementia Caregiver Support Group will be held on the<br />
second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 PM at 20018 Chateau Drive in<br />
Katy, TX 77450. <strong>The</strong> confidential group, led by Ariana Detert, MSW, LCSW,<br />
is designed to allow caregivers dealing with loved ones at various stages<br />
of dementia to share their concerns, thoughts and feelings with others<br />

Katy OCD/Anxiety<br />
Support Group for Parents<br />
<strong>The</strong> Katy OCD/Anxiety group for parents meets on the last Saturday of<br />
each month at 9 AM at La Madeline restaurant in Katy. <strong>The</strong> purpose of this<br />
group is to support each other as we deal with raising children with OCD/<br />
anxiety/panic disorders. Does your child avoid social situations? Do they<br />
have unhealthy perfectionism or depression from anxiety? Come talk<br />
with us. We might be the right support group to find some answers, even<br />
if your child does not have a formal diagnosis. We will share resources<br />

Tourette Support Group<br />
<strong>The</strong> Katy Tourette Syndrome Association of Texas Support Group meets<br />
the second Wednesday of each month (except July), from 7 PM-8:30<br />
PM, at St. Catherine’s Methodist Hospital, 701 S. Fry Rd, Katy, TX 77450.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re are concurrent adult and youth meetings. Adult meetings are varied<br />
with discussion, speakers and videos. During the youth meetings, snacks,<br />
crafts and games are enjoyed. Pizza/Video Game Nights and Holiday<br />

Harris County Wic Program<br />
Services offered by the WIC Program include breastfeeding assistance<br />
and referrals for health and social services. <strong>The</strong> Harris County WIC<br />
Program operates thirteen sites, all of which offer evening and weekend<br />

ECI Project TYKE<br />
ECI Project TYKE is a year round Early Childhood Intervention program<br />
(ECI) in the Katy Independent School District that specializes in working<br />
with children who need extra help. <strong>The</strong> program provides developmental<br />
services to children who may need assistance in attaining developmental<br />
milestones or who may have a disability. Services are provided to children<br />
from birth to three where they live, learn or play. ECI Project TYKE develops<br />
a supportive partnership with families by providing educational and<br />
emotional supports, which enriches the daily routines and relationships<br />
that will enable their child to reach his or her maximum potential. Anyone<br />
(parent, family, friend, caregiver, professional) can refer a child to ECI<br />
Project TYKE. If you know a child under the age of 3 who needs assistance<br />
in at least one area of development or who has a medical diagnosis or<br />
condition impacting his or her development, please call ECI Project TYKE<br />

Different Strokes<br />
Different Strokes is a wonderful group dedicated to serving and<br />
supporting people who have survived strokes themselves and for their<br />
caregivers. Although our needs are different, care is given to fill the<br />
needs for all of us. Different Strokes meets every Tuesday, at 10 AM, in<br />
the Senior Center, located at 13150 Memorial Dr., for fellowship, learning,<br />
sharing, exercising and loving. We meet together to share with one<br />
another. Please join us. If you have had a stroke or anyone you know has<br />
survived a stroke, please consider learning more about this group. We<br />

<strong>The</strong> Arc of Katy<br />
<strong>The</strong> Arc of Katy provides programs for individuals with IDD (Intellectual and<br />
Development Disabilities) including a day program, summer camp and socials for<br />
