Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP)<br />
PDAP is the only free outpatient substance abuse program for young<br />
people and parents in the greater Houston area. PDAP is spiritually<br />
based and is housed in churches. PDAP’s methodology is based upon the<br />
“Twelve Steps” of Alcoholics Anonymous. For Ages 12 to 17, call 281-870-<br />
9311 or for ages 17 to 25 call 713-647-8858.<br />
Drug & Alcoholism Family Support Group<br />
We are a group of men and women whose lives have been affected by<br />
either our own addiction or members of our family. We offer support and<br />
encouragement to help you manage your own life rather than focusing<br />
on others. Our meetings are every Wednesday night from 7-8 PM. For<br />

Home Encouragement<br />
Do you still believe in marriage? We do! By celebrating the institution<br />
of marriage, while connecting families with personal and professional<br />
resources, Home Encouragement sets it sights on helping to reduce the<br />
divorce rate in the Greater Houston area. Home Encouragement is a<br />
501(c)(3) non-profit that nurtures healthy marriages and strong families.<br />
We have many ways of doing this (please see website for details) and<br />
there is a special monthly event in the Katy area called Dinner and a<br />
Marriage. Our goal is to encourage married couples, as well as connecting<br />
them with Houston faith-based communities, family support systems<br />

Katy ADHD Parent Support Group<br />
<strong>The</strong> Katy ADHD parent group holds its monthly meetings on the 2 nd<br />
Sunday of every month, in room S201, at St. Peter’s United Methodist<br />
Church, 20775 Kingsland Blvd. from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. <strong>The</strong> meetings<br />
include a presentation by a guest speaker and an opportunity to<br />
share information and ask questions. <strong>The</strong>re is no charge for attending<br />
the meetings and walk-ins are always welcome. If you should need<br />
