I-Shy Tradition with Modernity<br />
ASHA JAIN who used to design<br />
clothes as a hobby since it gave<br />
her immense pleasure but soon it<br />
developed into a passion. She became<br />
a highly acclaimed designer of a<br />
different genre due to her distinctive<br />
style and design. She created a niche<br />
for her in the highly competitive<br />
and dynamic world of fashion. She<br />
is a self made designer which came<br />
to her naturally without any formal<br />
education or mentor.<br />
In her earlier days she was<br />
associated with a partner and worked<br />
for Marwar Mega <strong>Wedding</strong> show<br />
in Mumbai and the accolade and<br />
appreciation derived her to start her<br />
own venture and show her creative<br />
talent. As a result, in 2006 “I-Shy”<br />
came into existence a new star in the<br />
world of fashion which marks her<br />
journey towards success.<br />
She said that her grandmother<br />
was the inspiration and all credit goes<br />
to her. As a child she used to design<br />
her outfits for different occasions and<br />
festivals and love to play with scraps<br />
of fabrics. The richness of Indian<br />
handicrafts and vast collection<br />
embroideries helped her to explore<br />
and create new techniques. The rich<br />
use of vibrant color combinations<br />
with embroideries makes her<br />
