In our first edition we celebrated one son of
Africa, Dr Thomas Owusu Mensah, the
Ghanaian- American fibre optics inventor
and in this edition of Obimanso we are
celebrating another child of Ghana, Queen
Vida Amuah who is an International
Celebrity Vegan Chef, Multi–national
Speaker, Minister of the Word of God,
fashion designer, dancer and author.
Queen Vida is said to be one of the queens
in Mankessim in the Central Region of
Ghana. She is an award recipient at State
Capitol of Georgia by ‘The World Soul
Food Museum’ as ‘The World Queen of
Healthy Vegan Soul Food.’
Speaking to Obimanso, we asked her about
her experience in Israel at a young age and
she said “As an African in Israel it felt great
because of was divine connection. I only
connected with my roots. Israel is in both
eastern Africa. Between the year 1859 to
1869 the sues canal was built and the
purpose if that was to separate Israel from
being in Africa which is one of the greatest
conspiracy against black people .Israel is in
North Eastern Africa so being in Israel was
just a divine connection.”
EDUCATION
She attended St Johns Grammar School,
Accra and traveled to Israel to further her
