Jonathan and Ed are also diligent when it comes to allergies, particularly because Jonathon's son is gluten
intolerant. Diners will soon be in for a treat or two as they're planning meat-free, dairy and gluten-free recipes.
Testing times...
is when Jonathan and Ed spend a week blending flavours, cooking, taste-testing and judging with their
respective wives. They claim this is possibly the hardest but most enjoyable parts of the work! They created The
Ned Kelly and their fantastic new range of wedding puddings in this way.
Ahhh vintage...
not the lads but their unique trucks. They cook and sell their food from them, they’re pretty, they're versatile for
weddings and other events but require a fair amount of TLC. Getting their hands dirty when cooking is nothing
compared to keeping the trucks on the road! Flashes, thumbs up and waves from passing motorists prove the
effort is worth it... unless they’ve left the hatch open!
Getting married...
has changed, picturesque farm settings like Furtho Manor Farm are replacing costly traditional weddings venues.
They offer a more relaxed festival style of celebration and give the bride and groom more options for choice.
Bandit began just as this wedding scene was emerging and they are definitely leading the way!
Funky man in funky van...
Jonathan says this wedding review refers to Ed. In reality, it’s about the uniqueness that Bandit brings to
weddings and catering. Everyone loves selecting from the delicious flavours sold from their trucks. Wedding
planners and prospective brides and grooms love the engaging staff, vintage feel and ease of planning.
The adventure goes on...
with the places they visit and people they meet as well as their cooking. From being backstage at gigs to
venturing into the F1 paddock they’re part of a community – a growing street food community that offers ever
more diversity and flavour. Customers and suppliers are all part of it, and Jonathan and Ed love nothing better.
Become part of this incredible adventure - Bandit cooks at festivals, local events and parties.
