Garden centre go to place<br />
for everything plant-related<br />
The new garden centre at Southern Woods<br />
Nursery, in its handy location on the corner<br />
of Main South Road and Robinsons Road, is<br />
the go to place for everything plant-related<br />
since opening last year.<br />
Despite the surrounding road works this<br />
busy garden centre remains open seven<br />
days a week offering its many customers a<br />
huge selection of every kind of flowering<br />
plant, bush or tree waiting to find a home<br />
at your place.<br />
Most of them are grown on site and<br />
looked after by the team of 40 dedicated<br />
staff, says marketing manager Rico Mannall,<br />
The garden centre opened last year as an<br />
extension of the existing Southern Woods<br />
wholesaling business on the site half way<br />
between Templeton and Rolleston.<br />
The purpose-built retail store has been<br />
specifically designed with the customer<br />
in mind making it easy to find hedging,<br />
natives, deciduous trees, bushes, grasses,<br />
spots of colour or ground cover.<br />
The Southern Woods team is on hand to<br />
help, happy to provide free advice based<br />
on their many years in the business and<br />
knowledge of which plants would suit your<br />
property’s location, soil type and aspect the<br />
best.<br />
