Mr Ajeeth B received his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering<br />
from Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology in the year<br />
2016 and M.Tech Degree in Environmental Engineering from<br />
MIT, Manipal in the year 2018. He is passionate about the use of<br />
social media in engineering education and is constantly<br />
experimenting with hashtags.<br />
Effective Use of Social Media<br />
Session started with an introduction to different social media<br />
platforms like Twitter and Facebook. The importance of using<br />
effective hashtags was also highlighted. The audience was<br />
requested to create hashtags for various events that will be<br />
conducted in the college and make sure that the event is publicized<br />
effectively on social media. A hands-on session on creating and<br />
managing Twitter and Facebook accounts was also carried out.<br />
