Items too large to be picked up with the regular trash service can
be scheduled with the Public Works Department before placing out
at the curb. Items cannot be picked up if it is on your private
property including your yard, driveway or sidewalk so please place
at the street close to the curb so that you do not obstruct traffic or
pedestrians. The most popular items for large item pickup are
branches or brush (cut into sections 10 feet in length or less),
unwanted furniture, mattresses, box springs, hot water heaters,
and rugs.
Please call Public Works at 303-708-6100 or visit
greenwoodvillage.com for a list of acceptable items for large item
pick up.
