UnCagedPhoenix Magazine: February 2019
February is generally the month where people start to slack on all the life-changing ideas and plans to which, at the end of 2018, they pledged their undying dedication. If that is you, don’t beat yourself up. Life is not a 100-meter race. It’s a marathon. The fact that you began the process—envisioning the various ways to improve your happiness, health, goals and overall value of your life—is already a great success. You are not alone in this! So instead of giving up, we are going to figure out a new game plan together.

ENTREPRENEUR CORNER
To prepare for what it really takes to be an entrepreneur, complete transparency is required.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself:
Are you willing to make real
sacrifices?
Are you ready for the
negativity that comes with
success?
Are you prepared to fail?
Being an entrepreneur is going
to require you saying “no” to
many social engagements—
even if it means losing friends—
so you can devote time to
learning or working. Will you
invest your money into buying
more tools, courses and/or
books to take you to another
level? Or are you more focused
on buying material things and
taking unnecessary trips solely
for the purpose of looking
successful? What are you
prepared to give up to achieve
true success?
Are you prepared to see people
walk away from you when you
become successful? There
are individuals who will try to
break you down when they see
you trying to better yourself,
especially in business. Can you
discern the difference between
real supporters and those who
aim to attach themselves to
you, not in genuine support of
you but to siphon all they can
from you?
Not every business will succeed,
and not every business idea is a
good one. Can you live through
failing or will it break you to
the point where you will never
try again? Every successful
business owner has stories
of failures. Many of them may
never admit to the fact that
they failed more than they
succeeded. Are you prepared
to learn, even if it means
learning from your losses and
failures, so that you can make
necessary adjustments?
