Link Housing opens new office in West Ryde
LINK HOUSING opened a new office in West Ryde last Thursday.
The new office is located
on Level Two at 3-5 Anthony
Road, West Ryde
and aims to further serve
people in the local community
who need community
housing.
Link Housing is now the
leading provider of local
community housing and
the opening ceremony
heard City of Ryde Clr
Christopher Gordon speak
on the council’s role in
providing space for notfor-profit
community organisations.
Link Housing CEO Andrew
McAnulty said housing
stress is a growing issue
and Link Housing is
supporting people in need.
“We want people to
know that we are here to
help and support them as
they navigate their housing
options and settle into the
community,” he said.
“ We have approximately
3,000 people living in social
housing in the Ryde
local government area
alone.
“Our new West Ryde office
will allow us to deliver
on our mission of enhancing
lives through community
housing and to help
address the growing issue
of housing stress.”
The story of local Marsfield
tenant, Maureen was
recently featured in The
Weekly Times.
Maureen has been a
community housing tenant
for over a decade and told
this newspaper she admires
the way Link Housing
is treating tenants.
“The staff from Link
Housing have gone out of
their way to help and have
been absolutely terrific.
“I have a dedicated
housing manager who is
available at any time to
answer questions and she
takes a personal interest in
my situation.”
Disability housing tenant,
Estelle, who has cerebral
palsy and relies on
a wheelchair, has noticed
a huge difference since
Link Housing took over the
management of her property.
“I’m impressed with the
personal attention that has
been shown by Link Housing
staff.
“My dedicated housing
manager calls me on a
regular basis in an effort to
get to know me and understand
my limitations due to
my disability.
“There are very few
properties that cater to
people with a disability like
mine, yet I feel that Link
Housing genuinely cares.”
Mr McAnulty said the
new West Ryde office is
a bright and warm open
space that encourages
collaboration and inclusiveness.
“The spacious area
also accommodates Link
Housing’s growing staff
which includes around 40
housing managers, access
and demand officers, client
service staff and the
community engagement
team.
“The new office also provides
self-service facilities
for housing clients and applicants
and co-location
opportunities for local
support services.”

years and now manages
3,800 homes across metropolitan
