The vision of the Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District<br />

District 113A serves approximately 2,100 students, grades EC-8th<br />
grade. Oakwood School houses students from Early Childhood<br />
through grade 2, River Valley School serves students in grades 3<br />
through 5, and Old Quarry Middle School houses students from<br />
grade 6 through grade 8.<br />
Our mission is to provide students with an academic, social<br />
and emotional foundation to lead a productive and fulfilling<br />
life. District 113A is committed to creating an environment<br />
for learning that includes creative thinking, collaboration,<br />
creativity, individualization, and high expectations. The District<br />
strives to maintain a curriculum that advances academic rigor<br />
and challenges all students at their specific knowledge and<br />

LEMONT HIGH SCHOOL<br />
Lemont High School is one of the premier high schools in the<br />
State of Illinois, with its academic, athletic and extra-curricular<br />
programs among the best offered in Chicago’s southwest suburbs.<br />
Winner of multiple Chicago Tribune “Top Workplaces” awards,<br />
Lemont High School was cited as an “Exemplary High Performing<br />
School” through the 2017 National Blue Ribbon Schools program.<br />
Fueled by an innovative and supportive faculty, Lemont High<br />
School offers both a comprehensive curriculum that provides the<br />
best academic opportunities for all levels of learners, as well as<br />
state-of-the-art facilities. The school annually sends its alumni to<br />
some of the top colleges and universities in the country.<br />
Lemont High School’s extra-curricular programs are recognized as<br />
some of the state’s best. Its athletic teams are consistently a force<br />
in the South Suburban Conference, and each year several athletic<br />

MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF LEMONT<br />
Since 1972, Montessori School of Lemont has served children<br />
from Preschool through 8th grade following the educational<br />
philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori.<br />
Our tree lined campus is located on eight acres of prairie with a<br />
natural playground, organic community garden, chicken coop and<br />
nature trails. In addition to a traditional<br />
Montessori curriculum which is based on low studentteacher ratios<br />
and individualized instruction, Spanish, Mandarin, computers and<br />
art are also included. Before and after school care is available from<br />
7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. as well as extracurricular programs including<br />
soccer, yoga, music, art and chess club.<br />
