WINTER fILM LaUNCH<br />
Join the Canterbury Film Society on Monday<br />
1st July for the start of their second half of<br />
year showings.<br />
The <strong>2019</strong> winter film season begins with<br />
a double screening of Daisies and Heart<br />
of a Dog, and new members are warmly<br />
welcome. The venue is centrally located at<br />
the Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o<br />
Waiwhetū.<br />
Doors open at 6.<strong>30</strong>pm with a start time<br />
between 7 to 7:<strong>30</strong> as people love to mingle<br />
and chat about the film or catch up with<br />
each other. The Society’s goal is to captivate,<br />
inform and inspire film buffs as well as<br />
those on the hunt for alternative films to<br />
mainstream cinema offerings.<br />
Enjoy a showcase of titles consisting of cool<br />
classics, cult following films, documentaries,<br />
the movies Daisies (left) and Max (above) will feature at the <strong>2019</strong> winter film<br />
season.<br />
New Zealand films, foreign language films<br />
