Crawford College La Lucia
In March, Crawford College La Lucia participated
in the CANSA drive. Students could shave their
hair or spray it. R19 000 was raised by them for
this worthy cause.

In February, 14 Crawford College La Lucia Interact students
assisted the National Blood Service (SANBS) during the blood
donation drive held at Crawford College La Lucia. The students
were given a short training session by Jay (a member of SANBS)
and then assisted throughout the day, by the end of which 54
pints of blood were collected.

Every drop counts! Students and teachers stepped
up to donate blood at our recent blood drive.
The National Blood Service (SANBS) is a highly
professional unit that applies the strictest rules to
ensure that the blood bank uses blood that is safe
and of the highest quality.

Crawford College Lonehill
Community Outreach at Crawford College Lonehill has started
with a bang this year. Students from Grade 8 to Grade 12
have been involved in numerous events during the first term.
We’ve visited children’s homes, Marang House and Christway
Children’s home. We participated in the feeding scheme Rise
Against Hunger and assisted at Puppy and Kitty Haven and
4Paws animal shelters. Along with tutoring Maths at Olico in
Diepsloot, we assist with Edulift every Saturday morning, which
is a tutoring programme held at the College and initiated by
CCL alumni. It’s been an incredibly eventful term and we hope
that we’ve made a small difference in many lives. – Shreya

In February, 28 enthusiastic tutors inspired the
92 Grade 8 students at Fidelitas High School
in Soweto with their knowledge and passion
for Mathematics. It was such a pleasure to see
the Grade 10 to 12 students in action, as they
patiently and calmly explained Integers and
Fractions to the juniors.
