Pocosin Arts Announces New Family Program: Saturday Crafts with Pocosin Arts<br />

Starting in <strong>July</strong> Pocosin Arts will introduce<br />
a new community program funded by the<br />
National Endowment for the Arts. The program<br />
has an exciting schedule that will take<br />
place on Saturdays, offering family friendly,<br />
hands-on arts and craft based activities<br />
that are free of charge. Pocosin Arts’ three<br />
resident artists in clay, metals and digital<br />
fabrication will lead these projects. Seven<br />
projects will be held at the Edenton Farmers<br />
Market and ten additional projects will take<br />
place at Pocosin Arts’ studios in Downtown<br />
Columbia, NC. Pocosin is looking forward<br />
to meeting families from Tyrrell, Chowan,<br />
Perquimans, Washington, Dare and Hyde<br />
counties.<br />
