Do?s
- Use of Mahindra Finance IT assets must
be solely for business purpose only.
Reasonable personal use may be
permitted at the sole discretion of the
company.
- User is responsible for all actions
undertaken with their user credentials
(Username, Password) and devices.
- User must use strong password and
must change them regularly.
- User must ensure physical safety and
upkeep of all Mahindra Finance
Hardware entrusted to them. The
screen on the laptop or desktop should
kept locked (Ctrl +Alt + Del) while the
user is away.
- All external storage media exclusively
permitted for use with Mahindra
Finance IT assets shall be encrypted, so
as to safeguard Mahindra finance
Intellectual property
Don't s
- Copying / Storing / Transmitting any
personal data in any form through
Mahindra Finance IT Assets is
prohibited.
- User shall not access / download / copy /
store / transmit in any form of any obscene,
vulgar, inappropriate material, jokes, picture,
chain letter or any other non-work related
material using Mahindra Finance IT assets.
- Movies / Games / Music files / Photos/
Unauthorized software should not run /
stored on the Mahindra Finance IT assets and
will be summarily deleted.
- The user shall not share the Username and
Password with anyone, if it is shared with IT
helpdesk the password should be changed at
the earliest.
- User should not use User ID?s and passwords
are not allotted to them.
- Deletion, Examination, copying or
modification of files and/or data belonging to
other user without their prior consent is
prohibited, unless authorized by the IT risk
committee.
- Software, patch installations, modifications
and removal on Mahindra Finance IT assets
must be done only by or advised by the BITS.
- User must not stop / halt / delete any
process, services, software from Mahindra
Finance IT assets set up by the BITS.
