H. Training<br />
Upon installation of the incinerator, the company chosen should also be able to provide the<br />
following:<br />
� Introductory training <strong>for</strong> all new incinerator operators.<br />
� Retraining of operators after approximately one year of operational experience.<br />
� Follow-on training or retraining as considered necessary to ensure best practices <strong>for</strong><br />
operation of the incinerator.<br />
I. Maintenance<br />
<strong>The</strong> company chosen should be able to provide the following:<br />
� Maintenance (under a separate agreement) when necessary as considered by the<br />
purchaser. Note: purchaser can create a separate agreement with a schedule <strong>for</strong><br />
maintenance and supervisory visits.<br />
� Replacement parts.<br />
� Unscheduled maintenance if un<strong>for</strong>eseen defects of the incinerator occur.<br />
J. Manufacturer support<br />
<strong>The</strong> manufacturer must provide the following:<br />
� Warranties and guarantees <strong>for</strong> the expected life of the system.<br />
� <strong>The</strong> terms and conditions <strong>for</strong> technical support.<br />
� Training curriculum <strong>for</strong> installation, operation, and routine service.<br />
� A proposal <strong>for</strong> maintenance and repair support <strong>for</strong> the life of the product (5 years if an<br />
auto-combustion type or 10 years if a fuel-assisted type).<br />
� List of references.<br />
� Service and operators manuals. Manuals must be provided in the local language and<br />
must be simple and explicit.<br />
