How we get so many
eyes on our bare root Spigelia
Spigelia m. ‘Little Redhead’
This is one of our longest field grown crops with each plant being grown in
the field for at least 1½ years. This extended period of growth gives each
plant a period of natural dormancy and the time required to develop a full,
healthy root structure.
Check out our website for detailed culture information and grower insights.
Sisyrinchium ‘Lucerne’
Stachys m. ‘Hummelo’
NEW! Spigelia marilandica ‘Little Redhead’
Grows naturally in either sun or shade
SPILRG1 (Indian Pink) A versatile perennial that grows naturally in sun and shade, this woodland perennial is native to the eastern United States. Vegetatively
propagated to ensure uniformity. Dark red tubular flowers with yellow interiors are produced above an upright clump of dark green, wedge-shaped leaves.
Spigelia require good drainage to thrive, avoid overly moist, wet areas.
Stachys monieri ‘Hummelo’
2019 Perennial Plant of the Year
