fish, cheese, pies, pickles, cakes, plants and<br />

crafts all directly from local growers and<br />

Cassiobury Farm Open Day<br />

10am-5pm. Come and visit the rare breeds at<br />

Cassiobury Farm, also visit the kitchen garden<br />

and buy local artisan produce at the farm<br />

rides, pedalos and animal encounters. Come<br />

Learn about Wellington’s Army<br />

the Napoleonic era. Meet Napoleonic soldiers<br />

and find out about the life of a Rifleman in<br />

Wellington’s army during the Peninsular<br />

War. Visit the living history encampment and<br />

learn how the soldiers’ families lived. Watch a<br />

thrilling display of military skill as the soldiers<br />

skirmish (please note that this will include<br />

Rock at the Castle<br />

spectacular grounds of Hertford Castle. Live<br />

music will be performed across three music<br />

stages featuring acoustic, folk, indie, rock and<br />

for parents and toddlers held on the 1st and<br />

3rd Monday of every month. Sessions are<br />

hands-on and sensory to encourage child led<br />

exploration and natural play. Activities may<br />

include water play, mud kitchen time, bug<br />

hunting, bird spotting, pond dipping, games,<br />

crafts, storytelling and more. Aimed at children<br />

from 18 months to under 5, with younger<br />

siblings not participating in activities welcome<br />

for free. Parents get a free hot drink for each<br />

paying child they bring<br />

and story telling sessions. There’s also the<br />

chance to get involved in some themed craft<br />

sessions, where little ones can get hands-on<br />

with creating their own masterpieces to take<br />
