to Harpenden’s local nature reserve and
investigate the wildlife found all over the
reserve. Have a look in the river to see what

delve into the world of minibeasts in the
woodlands. Bring a packed lunch and have

Creatures of the Night

night at Amwell on this evening family
event. Come along at dusk to listen for bats
hawking over the lakes after their insect
prey using bat detectors and get up close
to moths in the light traps that will be set up.
