Create your own Hepworth Inspired
Soap Sculpture

Carve your own sculptures from a bar of
soap. Inspired by nature and the artworks of
Barbara Hepworth, work together as a family
to make your own sculpture. This activity is
perfect for children aged 8 and above. All

rules of photography are the same whether
you have a smartphone or a £20k camera
– composition, exposure and passion.

Building Homes for Wildlife

Woodland Wind Chimes

the Museum’s wooded area and collect your
materials to create a wind chime. Explore
the sounds outdoors and wander around,
picking up twigs and decorations to make a

Rye Meadlings

10.30am-12noon. Rye Meadlings is a group
for parents and toddlers held on the 1st and
3rd Monday of every month. Sessions are
hands-on and sensory to encourage child
led exploration and natural play. Activities
may include water play, mud kitchen time,
bug hunting, bird spotting, pond dipping,
games, crafts, storytelling and more. Aimed
at children from 18 months to under 5, with
younger siblings not participating in activities
welcome for free. Parents get a free hot
drink for each paying child they bring.

Free Funday Mondays - Angry Birds

a selection of Angry Bird shapes and
colours to create their own characters,
plus interactive storytelling, mini games
and soft play. These play sessions are held
on the first Monday of every month. Each
event will include access to a soft play area,

There’s also the chance to get involved in
some themed craft sessions, where little
ones can get hands-on with creating their
own masterpieces to take home. Age
