The 4th annual Dine Out Downtown Delray<br />
Restaurant Week <strong>2019</strong> takes place<br />
Thursday, <strong>August</strong> 1 through Wednesday,<br />
<strong>August</strong> 7 and is produced by the Delray<br />
Beach Downtown Development Authority<br />
(DDA) in partnership with the Downtown<br />
Delray Beach restaurants, cafés and fastcasual<br />
establishments/eateries.<br />
The purpose is to showcase the diverse<br />
dining scene and wide-array of culinary<br />
experiences in Downtown Delray Beach<br />
during the summer season - a tropical and<br />
leisurely time of year in South Florida. The<br />
program will also raise awareness for the<br />
Living Hungry “Not One Hungry Homeless<br />
Student Delray Beach” initiative.<br />
Downtown Delray Restaurant Week<br />
<strong>2019</strong> will feature special multi-course<br />
prix fixe lunch and dinner menus and<br />

culinary experiences and events including<br />
specialty themed dinners, food tours,<br />
cocktail classes, pizza making classes,<br />
charity food events and more. The weeklong<br />
event provides locals and visitors<br />
an opportunity to sample Downtown<br />
restaurants, cafés and fast-casual establishments/eateries<br />
at special prices.<br />
This year select restaurants will feature<br />
Brunch and Happy Hour specials.<br />

Delray Beach restaurants and merchants<br />
throughout the DDA neighborhoods:<br />
The West <strong>Atlantic</strong> Neighborhood, The <strong>Ave</strong><br />
(<strong>Atlantic</strong> <strong>Ave</strong>nue), Pineapple Grove, SOFA,<br />
US1, Beachside. Location - <strong>Atlantic</strong> <strong>Ave</strong>nue<br />
east from 1-95 to the Beach, and the surrounding<br />
neighborhoods of the Pineapple<br />
Grove Arts District and the SOFA District.<br />

On Sunday, <strong>August</strong> 18, Music at St.<br />
Paul’s begins its 32nd Season with a<br />
recital titled, “The Judaic Muse.” Featuring<br />
celebrated Cuban-American pianist José<br />
López, the program features piano works<br />
by composers of Jewish heritage. Works to<br />
be performed include Judith Shatin’s Chai<br />
Variations on Eliahu HaNavi; selections<br />
from Fanny Hensel’s (née Mendelssohn)<br />
Das Jahr; Ferdinand Hiller’s Piano Sonata<br />
in A-flat Major, Op. 59; Charles Valentin Alkan’s<br />
Nocturne in B major, Op. 22 and Symphony,<br />
Op. 39.<br />
Tickets for the concert are $20 (18 and<br />
under are FREE) and are only available<br />
