a week ago
air static with tense anticipation
radios newspapers televisions
marking the hours
spreading uncertain excitement
a week later
after all the
analyses pictures interviews recordings
after all the
flags rugs hopes
have been carefully
rolled up
folded
put in storage
after all the
barricades and bargainings
the Genii
is back in Cairo
the fantasy fades
grows dim
after all
