Ò Josephine Gellidon Tada Josephine w<strong>as</strong> raised in Manila. Her mother Elsa, sisters Maria Lydia <strong>and</strong> Teresita Irene, <strong>and</strong> brothers Paulino Martin <strong>and</strong> Emilio lives in Virginia Beach, USA. Josephine <strong>and</strong> her sisters <strong>and</strong> brothers attended Paco Catholic School. She obtained her degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce in St. Paul College Manila. She also finished courses in Tour Guiding, Japanese Cooking, Curtain Making, <strong>and</strong> Upholstery among others. Josephine believes in volunteering. She w<strong>as</strong> a volunteer in the 2000 Olympics since April until its Closing Ceremonies. She w<strong>as</strong> also a volunteer gardener at Black<strong>to</strong>wn Showground. For the l<strong>as</strong>t 25 years <strong>to</strong> present, Jo is employed at St. George Bank. Josephine is happily married <strong>to</strong> M<strong>as</strong>ahiro Tada from Miyazaki, Japan <strong>and</strong> they are blessed with two children: Ken, who finished Medical Science in the University of Technology Sydney, <strong>and</strong> Eri who is studying International Studies <strong>and</strong> Business Management also at the University of Technology Sydney. They speak Japanese in their home. Josephine loves travelling, cooking, dancing, studying, <strong>and</strong> multi-level marketing. She h<strong>as</strong> been the Secretary of NARRA Co-op Ltd since 2015, <strong>and</strong> her family is a Gold Legacy member of NARRA Co-op Ltd. A brain tumor survivor, Josephine treats everyday <strong>as</strong> her l<strong>as</strong>t day. Ò Dr Jaime Rodriguez Lopez Dr Jaime Lopez is a CPA <strong>and</strong> member of CPA Australia <strong>and</strong> studied at Charles Sturt University. He finished Doc<strong>to</strong>r of Philosophy in Education, M<strong>as</strong>ter in Business Administration, M<strong>as</strong>ter of Arts in Teaching. <strong>and</strong> Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Before migration <strong>to</strong> Australia, he had been very active in the community being President of several organizations including Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountant- Baguio Chapter. Being University Professor, the Dean of College of Commerce, <strong>and</strong> Asst General Manager of Hotel Nevada, he gave Lectures on Accounting <strong>and</strong> Auditing, Food <strong>and</strong> Sanitation that is very helpful <strong>to</strong> the community <strong>and</strong> w<strong>as</strong> awarded Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Accountant, Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Alumni of Saint Louis University, Baguio Colleges Foundation, <strong>and</strong> Saint Louis College In Australia, founded several community organizations. One notable achievement of the group under his leadership is the help <strong>to</strong> newly arrived migrants in their struggle <strong>to</strong> have a place in Sydney, helped Seniors <strong>and</strong> the needy both Philippines <strong>and</strong> Australia <strong>and</strong> the promotion of Filipino Arts <strong>and</strong> Culture. Dr Jaime R Lopez, a multi awarded volunteer. The Premier’s Volunteer Recognition Program for volunteering effort in the community w<strong>as</strong> presented by MP Greg Warren, in recognition <strong>and</strong> appreciation of his contribution <strong>to</strong> the community <strong>and</strong> the future of NSW. As an outst<strong>and</strong>ing local volunteer for many years, Jimmy h<strong>as</strong> generously given his time <strong>to</strong> make a difference in people’s lives. Awarded Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Community Leader by Filipino Communities Council of Australia, Volunteer Award from Community Relations Commission, NSW, <strong>and</strong> Campbell<strong>to</strong>wn Community Citizen Award. Innovation Award by Common Equity on behalf of the NSW Co-operative Housing Sec<strong>to</strong>r, Zest nominee for Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Volunteer Community Leader , <strong>and</strong> Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Community Leadership <strong>and</strong> excellence in promoting arts <strong>and</strong> culture by Plaza Filipino, Inc. Plaque of Appreciation by Global Ilocanos Australia Inc, Leadership Service for the Community Builders Award by Adhika Inc <strong>and</strong> Plaque of Appreciation <strong>as</strong> Gold Legacy Supporter of NARRA Co-op Ltd Why volunteer ? “I am a migrant myself <strong>and</strong> had seen how hard <strong>to</strong> live in a new country <strong>and</strong> whatever hardships <strong>and</strong> difficulties that I encountered should not also be felt by new migrants”. An innova<strong>to</strong>r by heart, Dr. Jaime Lopez h<strong>as</strong> introduced <strong>and</strong> implemented partnerships with various Filipino Australian non profit organizations. Sedgwick Housing Co-operative Ltd. (SHCL) under the leadership of Jimmy w<strong>as</strong> nominated <strong>as</strong> Exceptional Community Partnership Project in a Local Government Area category of the 2017 Zest Awards. SHCL h<strong>as</strong> partnered with several local community non-profit organisations <strong>to</strong> pursue projects for the community particularly the National Affiliation of Respectable <strong>and</strong> Responsible Association (NARRA). This partnership h<strong>as</strong> resulted in the acquisition of two investment property, one in 2016 <strong>and</strong> another in 2017: the Arts, Culture <strong>and</strong> Innovation Central (ACI Central) which serves <strong>as</strong> venue for lectures of interest, meetings of organisations <strong>and</strong> exhibits of Filipino artwork <strong>and</strong> h<strong>and</strong>icraft. The Centre h<strong>as</strong> four computers for use of members of the SHCL <strong>and</strong> its partners. NARRA Co-op Ltd w<strong>as</strong> named Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Voluntary Group/Organization in 2017 Zest Awards. Jefferson Lopez is the only son of Jaime Lopez from Balaoan, La Union <strong>and</strong> Myrma Bring<strong>as</strong>, a Registered Nurse from Bangued, Abra.
