Ò Efren Herrera Padag<strong>as</strong><br />

Efren Padag<strong>as</strong> w<strong>as</strong> born in Marikina City, Philippines. He studied BS Fine Arts<br />

at Far E<strong>as</strong>tern University ( FEU ). He is married <strong>to</strong> Carmelita Padag<strong>as</strong> <strong>and</strong> they<br />

are happily blessed with two kids named Kimberly 11 years old <strong>and</strong> Edward 8<br />

years old. Efren <strong>and</strong> family migrated in Australia in 2005.<br />

Efren is a Graphic Artist by profession. An inborn artist, he loves <strong>to</strong> paint<br />

natures <strong>and</strong> personal portraits. He also loves Pho<strong>to</strong>graphy, Videography, Acting<br />

<strong>and</strong> Music. He’s a former character ac<strong>to</strong>r in the Philippines. Worked with the<br />

famous ac<strong>to</strong>r in the Philippines before like Rudy Fern<strong>and</strong>ez, Cesar Montano,<br />

Ronaldo Valdez, Tirso Cruz III , Gabby Conception, Janno Gibs, Rosanna<br />

Roces, Vhong Navarro <strong>and</strong> many others .<br />

He continued with great success his p<strong>as</strong>sion in the world of entertainment in<br />

Sydney <strong>as</strong> emcee <strong>and</strong> performer in various Filipino community events. He is<br />

the Founder <strong>and</strong> Vocalist of the b<strong>and</strong> Trio called the “Mega Heartz”.<br />

Efren is the PRO <strong>and</strong> the Graphic Artist of the Filipino Australian Community Association in E<strong>as</strong>tern<br />

Sydney (FACAES).<br />

Ò Domingo Reyes Perdon<br />

Domingo “Nonoy” Perdon is father of two grown up children both born <strong>and</strong><br />

grew up in Sydney. He migrated <strong>to</strong> Sydney in 1981 <strong>and</strong> h<strong>as</strong> been the publisher<br />

of the community newspaper Bayanihan News since 1998. Together with the<br />

late brother writer <strong>and</strong> his<strong>to</strong>rian Rena<strong>to</strong> Perdon, he h<strong>as</strong> been active chronicler<br />

of the growth of the Philippine-Australian community in Sydney including the<br />

promotion of Philippine culture <strong>and</strong> his<strong>to</strong>ry in the Filipino di<strong>as</strong>pora in Australia.<br />

He finished B.S. Journalism in Manila.<br />

Nonoy also serves <strong>as</strong> volunteer <strong>as</strong>sistant p<strong>as</strong><strong>to</strong>r in a Filipino-Australian Christian<br />

congregation for many years. He is married <strong>to</strong> Belinda a hospital nurse. In<br />

addition <strong>to</strong> being a publisher, Nonoy also serves <strong>as</strong> writer, pho<strong>to</strong>grapher <strong>and</strong><br />

news reporter for his community publication, actively networking with the<br />

community’s newsmakers <strong>and</strong> advocacies, <strong>and</strong> overse<strong>as</strong> sources of Philippine news <strong>and</strong> s<strong>to</strong>ries.<br />

Ò Bob Reyes<br />

Bob Reyes is an accomplished graphic design artist <strong>and</strong> business owner<br />

with more than 25 years of experience providing graphic design, desk<strong>to</strong>p<br />

publishing <strong>and</strong> multimedia services <strong>to</strong> the government, private companies <strong>and</strong><br />

non-profit organisations. His Sydney-b<strong>as</strong>ed business, Alkei Type & Graphics<br />

Pty Ltd, is one of the leading graphic design <strong>and</strong> multimedia services provider<br />

(pho<strong>to</strong>graphy <strong>and</strong> video) in NSW, for various Ethnic-Australian community<br />

<strong>as</strong>sociations.<br />

Prior <strong>to</strong> moving <strong>to</strong> Australia in the late 1980s, Bob worked <strong>as</strong> a graphic designer<br />

in the Middle E<strong>as</strong>t (Iran <strong>and</strong> Bahrain) <strong>and</strong> ran a graphic design business in the<br />

Central Business District of Makati in Manila, Philippines. Having carved a<br />

successful career in graphic design, he is also a much sought-after professional<br />

multimedia edi<strong>to</strong>r, pho<strong>to</strong>grapher <strong>and</strong> videographer using only the latest<br />

software technologies, <strong>and</strong> video production equipment.<br />

Bob studied Advertising Arts at the prestigious University of San<strong>to</strong> Tom<strong>as</strong> (UST) College of Architecture<br />

& Fine Arts in the Philippines <strong>as</strong> well <strong>as</strong> Television <strong>and</strong> Video Production at Tehran Technical College<br />

in Iran.
