Paul Garner started todayʼs <strong>Black</strong> <strong>Country</strong><br />

Rangers team in 1998 as an extension of <strong>Black</strong><br />

<strong>Country</strong> Rangers Youth, allowing a pathway<br />

from youth football into adult football.<br />

<strong>Black</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Rangers Youth played their football in the popular<br />

Stourbridge and District Youth League. The team over the years were<br />

very successful winning league titles and cups at various age groups.<br />

<strong>Black</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Rangers joined the under 18s floodlit league in 2005<br />

playing at at the original home of Willenhall Town at Noose Lane.<br />

The club played at Willenhall for two seasons in the Floodlit League<br />

before applying to join the West Midlands (Regional) League at the<br />

beginning of the 2007/8 season. The application was successful, and<br />

they were placed is Division Two, still playing their games from Willenhall<br />

Town.<br />

<strong>Black</strong> <strong>Country</strong> won the Division Two League Cup at the end of 2008/09<br />

season after finishing fifth in the League. After winning the cup at the<br />

home of Tividale, this proved a good omen as they moved from Willenhall<br />

Townʼs Noose Lane ground to the Beeches at the beginning of the<br />

2009/10 season. winning the final The Beeches home of Tividale.<br />

The 2009/10 season saw the club have their most successful season to<br />

date, doing the League and Cup double earning promotion into Division<br />
