Old Wulfs leap frogged Bustleholme into second spot with a 2-1<br />

away win at Allscott. James Weaver opened the scoring on 14<br />

minutes. Tom Ray doubled their lead in the second half before<br />

Rune Corinaldi pulled one back to set up a rousing finish. Two first<br />

half goals in 3 minutes settled the points for Wellington Amateurs<br />

at home to Tipton Town. Tahli Harrigan and Shane Thomas with<br />

the goals.<br />

In the Gornal derby, Colts and Athletic shared the points in a 2-2<br />

draw at the Dell Stadium. Alistair McCue and Matt Smith were on<br />

target for Colts with Drenz Bala and Kyle Peters finding the net for<br />

Athletic. Wrens Nest fell to the bottom of the table following a 6-1<br />

hammering at home to Team Dudley who picked up their first<br />

points of the season. A Beckham Brazier hat-trick, a brace from<br />

Ashley Parsons Smith and Ahmed Diamonde were on target for the<br />

visitors with Arnold Chaponda netting a consolation goal for the<br />

Wrenna.<br />

In the Long Lane derby Wyrley overcame Sikh Hunters in a 2-1<br />

win. Scott Gill opened the scoring for Wyrley on 4 minutes but<br />

Hunters were on level terms within a minute, Nathaniel Lewars<br />

netting the equaliser. Wyrley’s winner came courtesy of the penalty<br />

spot. Dylan Cook stepped up to place the spot kick past Hunters<br />

keeper Sam Butler.<br />

In Division Two Ludlow Town displaced Newport Town from top<br />

spot after beating their Shropshire rivals 4-1 at Shukers Field.<br />

Goals from James Byatt Dan Griffiths and a brace from Jack Davies<br />

settled the Shropshire derby with Jamie Harrison netting a<br />

consolation. Under the management of former Darlaston defender<br />

Ryan McDonagh Coven Athletic moved into second spot winning a<br />

7 goal thriller by the odd goal against Church Stretton. Goals from<br />

Ashley Dicken, Kyle Wainwright and two from Paul Blagrove set up<br />

the win with Jack Davies, Owen Holdsworth and Matthew Jones all<br />

replying for the visitors. In the only other game in the Division, two<br />

new teams were in action at Walsall Wood as Walsall Town Swifts<br />

thumped Worcester Raiders Reserves 7-1. A Dante Taylor hat trick<br />

together with two from Shane Holmes and goals from Ryan<br />

Bradshaw and substitute Kienan Palmer completed the rout.<br />
