I will always deeply miss <strong>Felino</strong> as my poetry pal,<br />
and as the main impetus for continuing Clockwise<br />
Cat through the years. Indeed, Clockwise Cat and<br />
<strong>Felino</strong> <strong>Soriano</strong> are so intricately bound, it seems<br />
almost absurd to persist with publication of the<br />
magazine given <strong>Felino</strong>’s horribly unfair, untimely<br />
demise. Time will tell what happens with this<br />
publication.<br />
It is been thrilling for me to learn, however, through<br />
the submissions to this commemorative issue, just<br />
how indelibly <strong>Felino</strong> touched so many people, not<br />
just through his vital verse, but through his persistent<br />
encouragement of their own talents.<br />

Thank you, <strong>Felino</strong>, for your warmth, intelligence,<br />
humor and compassion. The world is a far dimmer<br />
place without you.<br />
We close with a blurb I wrote for one of <strong>Felino</strong>’s yetto-be-published<br />
