Walk<br />
of hope<br />
The community is invited to<br />
take part in the Hakatere<br />
Hope Walk on <strong>October</strong> 13.<br />
The free event aims to<br />
bring people together to<br />
raise awareness of suicide<br />
prevention.<br />
A short loop walk is<br />
planned from the southern<br />
end of the West Street car<br />
park to the overbridge and<br />
back along East Street.<br />
The Hakatere Hope Walk<br />
is whanaudriven and supported<br />
by multiple local<br />
agencies.<br />
Those taking part are<br />
encouraged to wear the<br />
colour yellow. People are<br />
asked to gather to register,<br />
prior to the start of the walk<br />
at 1pm.<br />
