heart of Christchurch. Celebrate
traditional and contemporary
Indian culture in its many
forms. Highlights will include
delicious food stalls, showcasing
authentic cuisine, traditional and
contemporary dance and music,
the hotly-contested Bollywood
dance competition, and a grand
finale fireworks display.

roller derby
Teams from around New Zealand will face-off to see
which will take out the Southern Shakedown title.

Extravaganza
Explore Ferrymead Heritage Park, and ride the trains and trams as many
times as you like. Admission will include Vulcan rail
car rides on Saturday, steam train rides on
Sunday, tram rides, double decker bus rides,
face-painting, bouncy castles and old
movie screenings in the cinema. Ponies
and a petting zoo by Ponies2Go
will be there both days. And there
will be plenty of food trucks for all
the family. Car parking available at
the start of Ferrymead Park Drive,
opposite the football stadium. Then catch
a train or tram into the township. Tickets

There will be five divisions and $10,000 in prizes up for grabs.

Halloween Family Fun Day
Start the day with a free dance workshop to help you get your zombie
moves on for the annual Thrill the World global synchronised dance
event. Get a $10 wristband per child (5-17years) to participate in all
activities. This includes the skeleton hunt, bouncy castle rides, facepainting
and the biscuit-decorating competition. A day of family fun with
free entertainment and music. So grab your spookiest costume, bring the
picnic blanket and make a day of it.
