to funds to help with the process
ONLY half of the Spanish
electorate would be willing
to rent their property
to any of the party political
candidates standing
in this Sunday’s general
elections.
In a slightly tongue in
by Simon Russell
cheek survey by rental platform
Spotahome 14% of
homeowners asked said they
would trust acting Prime
Minister Pedro Sanchez
with the keys to their home,
followed by Pablo Iglesias
from Podemos with 12% and
far right Vox leader Santiago
Abascal with 11%.
Emilio Renedo, CEO of
Spotahome, said that the
survey shows that people’s
requirements are much
higher for renting your
house out than running the
country.
The company is also running
a campaign in Madrid
with a slogan on a London
bus asking, “Who would you
want to rent La Moncloa?”
