PATRICIA URQUIOLA DESIGNS NEW METEORIC RUGS<br />
Prolific designer Patricia Urquiola has created a recycled woollen rug shaped like a meteorite<br />
for Italian brand <strong>cc</strong>-<strong>tapis</strong>, inspired by the build-up of paint layers from au<strong>to</strong>motive<br />
fac<strong>to</strong>ries.<br />
The strips of colour depend on the available scraps of wool and are different in each rug. Named Fordite<br />
after an old au<strong>to</strong>mative paint, the rug is defined by an angular outline like a s<strong>to</strong>ne.<br />
