DAVID/NICOLAS DESIGNS RUG FOR CC‐TAPIS<br />
Beirut studio david/nicolas has created a geometric rug for Italian brand <strong>cc</strong>-<strong>tapis</strong>, inspired<br />
by the interior of a restaurant that they designed.<br />
The rugs take on the triangular patterns that david/nicolas designed <strong>to</strong> adorn the walls of a restaurant in<br />
Beirut. The motif was spun out in<strong>to</strong> multiple variations featuring soft lines and contrasting textures. They<br />
translated each hand-drawn design in<strong>to</strong> wool and silk.<br />
