has released data
about the ongoing campaign
to humanely control
the town’s estimated 800
feral cats.
This year 245 animals
have been captured, sterilised
and released back, 101
males and 144 females.
In 2018 this figure was 161
and in 2017, the first year
of the government funded
campaign, it was 147.
The work is carried out by
a specialist company and the
method is considered both the
most effective and humane.
