Our History
On 01 July 2002, Le Nguyen Law Office was established on the basis of
merging Law and Human Resources Consulting Center (founded in
1997) and LN Consulting Service Company (founded in 2000).
In order to expand and provide better legal services to the clients, on
03 July 2017, Le Nguyen Law Office was converted to Le Nguyen Law
Firm ("Le Nguyen") in accordance with Business License No.
41.02.0021/TP/DKHD issued by the Department of Justice of Ho Chi
Minh City.
In more than 20 years of practice, Le Nguyen has been representing
hundreds of Vietnamese and foreign clients in various legal issues at
affordable rates.

Mr. Le Thanh Kinh - a Vietnamese attorney and solicitor who
received his Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B.) and then a Master of
Laws (LL.M.) at the Kuban State University in Russia in 1988. He
is fluent in English and Russian.
He has been in practice for more than 20 years under the Ho Chi
Minh City Bar Association.
Mr. Kinh is the founder and the current Managing Director of Le
Nguyen Law Firm, of which head office is located in Ho Chi Minh
City with branches in Hanoi, Danang and Can Tho cities.
Prior to the establishment of LAW & HR Consulting® in 1997,
which became Le Nguyen Law Office and then Le Nguyen Law
Firm Ltd., he worked as a detective for the Investigation Unit of
the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department.
Mr. Kinh is also listed as an arbitrator of the Vietnam International
Arbitration Centre.
In the past 20 years, Mr. Kinh has provided legal advice for large
corporations and important clients such as Vietnam Airlines,
China Airlines, Mitsubishi Corp, Itochu Corp, Mitsui Corp, Daewoo
Engineering, and ALT Group in areas of Commercial Law,
Corporate Law, and Real Estate Law.
In 2000, Mr. Kinh represented Kyunggi Silk (Korea) Ltd., in the
first recognition and enforcement of a foreign arbitral award in
Vietnam against VISERI - a major State company.
In 2002, Mr. Kinh represented Leighton Contractors (VN) Ltd. in
the landmark decision by the Ho Chi Minh City Court of Appeals
to not recognize and enforce a foreign arbitration award in
Vietnam.
In 2005, Mr. Kinh represented British former rock star Gary
Glitter, who was charged with child molestation by Vietnamese
authorities. Mr. Kinh has undertaken a wide range of criminal
disputes and has been highly successful in solving many criminal
cases for foreign individuals.
In 2009, Mr. Kinh was awarded Lawyer of the Year, an honor
given to outstanding contributors to the practice.
Mr. Kinh is currently trusted by the judiciary establishment of Ho
Chi Minh city with the organizing and teaching of the legal practice
courses for trainee lawyers at the Judicial Institute (under the
Ministry of Justice). He has been delivering training to lawyers
from other provinces’ Bar Associations, as well as information
sessions to businesses across the country.

Ms. Hoai Giang graduated Ha Noi University of Law in 1999
and became a Le Nguyen’s member.
In more than 15 years, she has accumulated significant
expertise and experience working in dispute resolution and
litigation. She has acted as an attorney at law and proceeded
many complex disputes relating to Civil Law, Properties and
Land Law, company management right of shareholders, labor
disputes with foreign elements at Court regarding unilateral
termination of labor contract, labor discipline treatment and
payment for salary and allowances. Aside from court cases, she
also has experience in many disputes resolved through
arbitration proceedings at VIAC and in many criminal cases.
In her commercial litigation practice, Ms. Giang handled a variety
of well – known cases including advising on and representing Hoang

Dong province. She helped the client in expanding their presence in
Vietnam by establishing Foreign Invested Enterprises such as equity

Ms. Chau Loan received her Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B.)
and then a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Kuban State

2007, Ms. Ngan Ha joined Le Nguyen, and has been in charge
of Client Services. She is responsible for administrating the office,

Ms. Le Nguyen Minh Chau obtained her Law degree from the
University of Exeter, UK following by a Master in Communication
at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Lawyer Minh Chau is a
qualified Vietnamese lawyer, a member of Ho Chi Minh City Bar
Association and is due to be admitted as a qualified Australian
lawyer of Victoria State, Australia.
Ms. Minh Chau has extensive experience working for multiple
international law firms, including some of the world’s largest
“Magic Circle” firms, where her areas of expertise lie in all aspects
of corporate and commercial, with a particular emphasis on
mergers and acquisitions, banking and project finance. She has
worked on some of the most significant landmark transactions in
Vietnam, such as advising VietJet Air on its groundbreaking IPO

Mr. Tran Thai Duong graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a
Master of Laws from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. After
successfully defending his master’s dissertation and acquiring the
