A Masterplan was produced for Chelmsford back in 2009 with a later update in 2012
looking at various aspects of the course. Earlier this year, the Club decided to undertake a
renovation of its bunkers starting with six holes. A new style of bunker has been
recommended that is much more visually stimulating as well as being much easier to
maintain. New drainage and a new liner have been used to ease the maintenance burden
of the bunkers.
