Self Defense<br />

Wednesday or Thursday<br />

Y member rate: $95<br />

Having some basic skills in Self-Defense can make a big difference<br />

in a dangerous situation. Being prepared both mentally and<br />

physically is essential. This class being offered addresses these<br />

two major areas of concern. You will develop the following skills<br />

over the course of a 7 week program:-Sense of awareness-Basic,<br />

but effective self-defense techniques-Making better decisions -<br />

Avoiding bad situations-Specific exercises-Confidence-Lateral<br />

movements- Gripping- Striking- Tripping- Assessing- Kicking-<br />

Maximizing power- Understanding body mapping<br />

TRX Bootcamp 45<br />

Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday<br />

Y member rate: $47.50/month<br />

While mainly on the TRX straps during this 45-minute class your<br />

instructor will also incorporate other equipment such as resistance<br />

bands, kettlebells, battle ropes, and etc. Join in on the fun today,<br />

and you will not be disappointed! Experience this fun and<br />

empowering form of exercise that will spark your interest and<br />

revitalize your routine. Users can precisely control how challenging<br />

they want each exercise to be. This type of training allows users to<br />

self-adjust the amount of resistance they want, making it suitable<br />

for people of all fitness levels by making small changes in foot,<br />

hand or body position. The TRX will help to develop strength,<br />

balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. Groups are<br />

limited to 8 participants so there is plenty of individual attention<br />

to go around. Cost shown reflects the annual rate and payments<br />

are charged monthly. New registrations are accepted anytime and<br />

there is no commitment, so cancellation can be requested.<br />
