Losing weight can be challenging, but we are here to help. The<br />
<strong>YMCA</strong>'s Healthy Weight Loss <strong>Program</strong> empowers you to lose<br />
weight by making small, modest changes and forming healthy<br />
habits that you can sustain over time. Led by a trained facilitator<br />
who creates a safe and supportive environment, the program<br />
meets one hour per week for 12 weeks. We do not advocate for<br />
specific or restrictive short-term solutions--we help you build<br />
skills for successful lifestyle changes. From reducing your risk of<br />
heart disease, strokes and the development of some cancers to<br />
increasing your energy level, strengthening your immune system<br />
and even relieving back and joint tension, the benefits of<br />
maintaining a healthy weight are literally life-saving.<br />

The Youth and Government club brings the workings of state<br />
government alive to future leaders. It creates an opportunity for<br />
students to discuss current state issues with state administrators,<br />
elected officials, and other students from 40 high schools and<br />
<strong>YMCA</strong>s throughout the state!<br />
