ingredients

10 minutes prep–15 minutes cook time

• 1 Nong Shim Chapagetti

noodle block

• 1 Nong Shim Chapagetti

powder packet

• 1 Nong Shim Chapagetti

garnish packet

• ½ cucumber, thinly cut

into strips

• ¼ lb pork loin, cubed

• 3 Cups & 2 Tbsp water

• 1 Tsp sugar

• ½ Tbsp soy sauce

• ½ Tbsp hoisin sauce

• 1 Tbsp black bean paste

• 1/2 cup diced peas

• 1/2 cup diced carrots

• ½ Tbsp peanut oil

• ½ Tbsp peanut oil

Zhajiangmian is a popular Chinese dish commonly

found across east Asia. Its simplicity

and strong, earthy flavor has solidified it

as a staple soul food. It is this legacy of heartiness that has

made zhajiangmian a prominent variant amongst instant

noodle brands.

preparation

1. Bring water to boil in a medium soup

pan.

2. Add Nong Shim Chapagetti noodle

block and cook for 3 minutes or until

al-dente.

3. Strain noodles and set aside.

4. In a medium frying pan, heat peanut

oil.

5. Lightly fry pork, peas, and carrots for

5 minutes.

6. Combine soy sauce with black bean

paste, hoisin sauce, and sugar

7. Add 2 tbsp of water and powdered

sauce to frying pan.

8. Mix in Paldo Jjajangmen sauce

packet.

9. Continue frying for 5 minutes.

10. Serve noodles topped in sauce with

cucumber.
