The Endellion Quartet
Founded in 1979 the Endelllion Quartet has
become known as one of the world’s great
quartets. In celebration of Beethoven’s
250th Anniversary, their programme will
start with the most radiant of the late
quartet, Op. 127 in E flat major. Their
second half will be another of the greatest
works in the literature, Mozart’s G minor
viola quintet, for which they will be joined
by Douglas Paterson.

given a piece of drawing charcoal and
challenged to create charcoal rubbings
from hidden plaques dotted around
Hestercombe’s gardens.
The charcoal used on the trail will be
sourced from their very own charcoal
burner which sometimes burns at the
Charcoal Burner’s Camp high up in the
gardens.

“Pop Idol” series in 2003. Now resident

Tribute - Beatles with Wings
This is a tribute band led by sax player
Howie Casey, who toured and recorded
with Paul McCartney and Wings for
ten years. ‘Beatles with Wings’ play
music typified by the “Sergeant Pepper”
album and the “Wings” album “Band
on the Run”, with the band expanded
to ten players and a much wider mix of
instrumentation than heard on the original
Beatles hits.

Flying Folk
A Jim Reynolds performance is always a
rare delight, his repertoire consisting, for the
most part, of his own material. Songs about
