We aretoo rnany different people doingdifferentthings. It's irnpossible to really havea connnuni ty. People's understanding of cornrnunity,which in fact shapes their expectation of corrrrnunity, vary a greatdeal. It is this difference that is often at the root of much ofthe frustration and at tirnes futile efforts being made to renewcommunitylife in our Congregation.The following few pages offer some general notions concerning cornmunity:I- why this big concern for corrnnunity today?II- what is essential before any corranunity can exist?III- what is the purpose, goal and end of a religiouscomnunity?- 15 -
