Classified Ad Rates
Classified Advertising Deadline:
After Noon Thursday
G.S.T. will be payable on all of the following charges.
Minimum Charge: $8.00 for 20 words or less.
Additional words charged at 20 cents each. $3.00
invoicing fee applies if ad(s) cost is under $25. 4th
week FREE if paid in advance. $12 fee for onecolumn
photo in classifi ed ad section. *additional
admin fee applies in certain cases.
Display ads booked into the classifi ed section will
be charged at a 78 cents per agate line rate.
Ads may be inserted for more than one issue,
however there will be no refunds for cancelled ads.
Classifi ed rates also apply to obituaries, memorials,
births, weddings, anniversaries, special occasions,
greetings placed in the classifi ed section.
There will be a charge for articles or write-ups
submitted more than 60 days after the event.
Announcement ads placed outside the classifi ed
section:
Obituaries, Memorials, Wedding and Anniversary
write-ups: $70 for fi rst 250 words, 16 cents for each
additional word, plus $15 for photo (colour at no
extra charge, if room in that issue).
Birth Announcements: $15.
Wedding, anniversary, special occasions, birthday
greetings: $49 fl at rate for a 2 col. by 4 inch ad or
equiv. (photo included)
Classifi ed Legal Notices: 35¢ per word.
Display Legal Notices: $14.00 per column inch.
GST is payable on all ads.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS
in advertising/orders/information taken over the
telephone. The publisher reserves the right to revise,
discontinue or omit any advertisement or to cancel any
advertising contract, for reasons satisfactory to the
Publisher without notice or without penalty to either
party. All advertising subject to Publisher’s approval.

in accordance with Standards of Acceptability to
the Publisher, to lighten or change type, borders or
illustrations. The Publisher reserves the right to add
