COMMUNICATION
Strong project communication is key to the FNI team’s ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Through effective communication, we can efficiently function as an extension of ODOT’s staff, mobilize needed
team members, and maintain quality and cost control. A sample of the team’s communication tools include:
One-Page Reports (brief, written summaries of current and upcoming tasks, project milestones/delivery dates,
and any issues – provided weekly, biweekly or monthly); in-person project meetings; and regular e-mail/phone
communication.
QUALITY ASSURANCE /QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM
FNI recognizes that poor attention to quality can result in a poorly designed and constructed project and future
headaches for ODOT. We are committed to verifying quality at every project milestone via a review of each
technical element of the project by experienced personnel within the firm who are not assigned to the project.
Our internal Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program is rooted in a system of formal checklists,
meticulous analysis, and design and construction excellence to help produce quality deliverables and service for
ODOT.

Project Manager Paul Green served 33
years in various roles at ODOT. He has
been involved with some of ODOT’s most
notable projects and consequently has
vast experience in producing successful
projects.
Paul served as project engineer for
Sailboat Bridge over Grand Lake on US
59, which won multiple awards. He also
worked on SH 11 Gilcrease Expressway.
